The New Login-bar on the website
Posted by [GM] Sakura on 05 April 2013 09:41 AM

As part of our move towards the new UserGames portal we have implemented a new login system for the CABAL Online website. This brings with it a new currency called UserCash (but don't worry, UserCash = CABAL Cash), a new payment provider called UltimatePay with many news ways to purchase cash (including Paypal!), and new Account Management features like the ability to change the subpasswords on your game accounts.

(Note that the current login system is still available at the moment. It will be removed in the very near future)

To get started we have created this guide, to help you get settled in. Note that some features on the bar is still being enabled, and we will update the guide as they become available.

1. The first thing you will see is the bar, which will appear as a black line at the top of the site with a welcome message, a "+" that allows you to expand the bar, and a Login | Register link. To proceed, simply click on the "+" button.

2. The bar will drop down, showing all the various options. On the left is the welcome message from UserGames (yes, that is us), the login section in the middle, and the registration on the right. To login you need the following:

- Your email address
- Your website password

Simply fill those in, and click on login.

Note: Your email is very important. After we went through the email verification process every registered, active CABAL account has a verified email associated with it. That is the one to use.

3. Now that you are logged in you will see your username displayed. Your game accounts will be on the right (the account used in this example is brand new, and has no game account yet).

To purchase UserCash you only have to click on the "Add Cash" button in the middle section, below your displayed username. When you click that the following window will appear.

4. Select the amount of UserCash you want to add. It is as simple as clicking on the amount.

5. Once you have selected the amount a confirmation window will appear. The example has me choosing 10,000 UserCash, which is equal to 10,000 CABAL Cash.

6. The UltimatePay window now appears, with our company name (Games-Masters.com) visible on the left. You simply have to choose your payment method to proceed. Note that every country has different options available.

Simply proceed with your payment method of choice, and UltimatePay will take care of the rest. You will be returned to the CABAL Online site once the process is complete.

7. Here you can see the login bar, with four active Game Accounts (Account IDs blurred out). Each Game Account has a big "Manage" button next to it. Click this, and the following window will appear.

8. This is where you will be able to change your game account password, and subpassword. This is also where you change your purchased UserCash into CABAL Cash loaded to that specific game account.

That means that you now purchase UserCash first (which is available for every game we publish, and will publish!) before moving it to whichever game account you wish to use to have the cash available on.

9. This shows you the window that appears once you click on 'Add Cash' in the Manage Window. Simply select the amount of UserCash you wish to change into CABAL Cash, and that amount of CABAL Cash will be available when you next log in to that game account.

IMPORTANT: We are currently working on the login bar and related systems. Some functions, such as changing the subpassword, is not yet available but will be in the very near future.

E-mail change no longer available!
Posted by [GM] Sakura on 14 March 2013 03:46 PM

With our new portal and a new account system, your e-mail is going to have a much more prominent role on our site and therefore it will no longer be possible to change it

If you have not yet verified your E-Mail & Changed Passwords, you might come across one of the following issues, or both:

A. You do not remember the e-mail used on your CABAL Online Account: You will then need to contact our Account Support Department where you will be told which e-mail is being used on the particular account.

B. You no longer have access to the e-mail used on your CABAL Online Account: You will then need to contact your e-mail provider so they can help you regaining access to the e-mail in question.

Once you have access to the e-mail all you need to do is to verify it and change your passwords is to follow simple steps:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reset website password
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Go to login page, and press on "Forgot Password" button.
2. You will be redirected to a page where you need to enter either your website account name or the email address used on the account. Enter the data, then click 'Submit'.
3. An email will be sent out to you containing a confirmation link.
4. Open your mail, and follow the link.
5. In the opened window you'll be asked for the WEBSITE ACCOUNT new password.
6. Press Submit
Once you receive the message that your website password has been successfully reset you will be able to log in to your website account normally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reset in-game password
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Log in to your website account
2. You will see a list of all Game IDs you have on the account. Find the account you need.
3. Click on "Reset password" next to the Game ID you need to reset password for.
4. An email will be sent out to you containing a confirmation link.
5. Open your mail, and follow the link.
6. In the opened window please enter your new Game account password and confirmation.
7. Press Submit.
Once you receive the message that your game password has been successfully reset you will be able to log in to your in-game account normally.
Note that if you have several game accounts you will have to reset passwords separately for each of them.

[IMPORTANT] How to identify a real GM character ingame
Posted by [GM] Akari on 17 February 2012 06:33 PM
Can you tell a real GM ingame from a fake one? It is actually very easy, but if you are unsure the following guide will help you.

The Basics

Always keep the following in mind:
  • No GM will ever tell you to go to any website other than http://support.cabalonline.com orwww.cabalonline.com or http://forum.cabalonline.com - and you will see that all three of those are official sites ending with cabalonline.com. You can always check the forum and website for any announcements.
  • No GM will ever ask you for your account information ingame, including account ID, passwords, or subpasswords.
  • No GM will ever 'need to log into your account to check for illegal activity'
  • No GM will ever tell you about changed rules or anything similar that you need to accept.

Special GM-chat

When a GM uses any chat ingame you will see a yellow box to the left of their nickname, with 'GM' inside it. These examples will show what you should see.

Scam attempt - don't fall for it

If you cannot see that yellow box, even in whisper - it's a scam attempt. Ignore, block and report the player whispering or talking to you.

GM-sign and nation

All ingame GM characters have the GM-stick, and the special GM-nation. No GM will ever refuse to show you either of those, and should have them visible most of the time (although some GMs might use weapon skins like the Lightsaber ones, they are all willing to show you the GM-stick if you ask them to) - so if you are unsure simply ask.

GM-buff (and debuff!)

All ingame GM characters have the special Buff Skill, that gives you a really nice stat boost as well as floating pink hearts around your character. Normally you can find this in the middle of a crowd of players all showing the hearts. Some GMs also use the debuff from time to time, which shows as floating skulls around your character. Once again, if the GM cannot buff you... well, it might be time to be suspicious.

WARNING: Beware of fake CABAL Sites
Posted by Caesar on 08 October 2008 06:29 AM
We would like to remind you of the following, before you submit any private information on any site :

Only a limited number of CABAL sites will ever ask you for your private details. These are limited to the following links. Asked to provide your details anywhere else? Don't do it!
  • www.cabalonline.com – The main website for CABAL Online EU – This does not require any user login in order to be viewed properly.
  • https://www.cabalonline.com/account/ - The main login page for the CABAL Online EU user account (when purchasing Cabal Cash, creating Game ID’s, etc)
  • *NOTICE* - You have to be sure that the site link begins with HTTPS (this means Secure HTTP). No other website besides www.cabalonline.com will have that link. You should only insert your account info on this webpage, and nowhere else. Every other site that does not match the address EXACTLY , is a fake site.
  • http://forum.cabalonline.com/index.php - The official Forum for CABAL Online EU. Ensure you use different information when you register for the forum. Not done so? Change your password immediately!
  • support.cabalonline.com - you will NEVER be asked for your password by support. In some cases you might be asked to provide your ID, however prior to doing so ensure you are talking to the official CABAL support team.

The above are all the sites owned by Games-Masters.com. If you receive any other link regarding Cabal EU that is not one of the above three, DO NOT access it. This includes email links, which are sent to your address (appearing to come from @cabalonline.com) either asking for OR redirecting you to, another page to enter your private information. This is not us and you will loose your items and account.

We hope that this will clarify the situation caused by numerous websites (e.g. cabalonlineeu.com) that have fooled players into entering their personal info, by copying the looks and functionality of Games-Masters.com’s CABAL website.

Be careful and beware. Do not lose your account and items to these simple scams.
