ERL Error received

The error appears when you are blocking GameGuard from running properly or when running it with no administrator privileges. To fix this : 1) Run the game from an administrator PC account 2) Make sure the firewall and router are not blocking GameGuard's connectivity to the internet (you need open ports in router/firewall) 3) Check the antivirus to make sure it's not blocking GameGuard. 4) Make sure you don't have any software that blocks GameGuard (such as Outpost Firewall, Panda antivirus, PunkBuster, Windows Sidebars, Avira antivirus , etc) Note : In order to be 100% sure that it’s not a random software blocking GameGuard , please upload a screenshot of the Task Manager -> Processes tab to www.imageshack.us and provide me the link, so that I can see which running software is blocking Cabal. Note 2 : To test if the ports are closed, visit www.canyouseeme.org and type 6900 in the box. Click Check port ... If you receive a TIMEOUT, there's a firewall stopping you (and you need to make sure the game executable and GameGuard.des are added to the firewall exception list). If you receive a Connection REFUSED, then your ISP/Modem/Router is blocking your ports, and you need to configure your router to forward the ports into your LAN IP address or talk to the ISP to do it for you, if you cannot modify router settings. | |
